Well, it's been quite interesting how I got started with all of this
quilting !!!!!
Back in the summer of 2006, my daughter, Anna and I decided that we wanted to learn how to sew. We had never sewn before and I thought this would be something we could both enjoy for some "together" time. We went through Adult Education and there was a class for Mommy and Me at Creative Patches. We learned how to make clothes, purses, aprons, and last, but not least, quilts. My daughter, Anna is now on to bigger hobbies like horseback riding which she adores, but I kept on sewing, sewing, and more sewing. One of the teachers at Creative Patches, Andrea, told me that I now have the sewing sickness and we tease each other all the time. As the years went by and I got deeper into quilting and applique, I came to Patti at Creative Patches and asked if she wanted to share a website with me to display our quilts, and other projects, for purchase. Patti said yes, and off we went. I never knew that quilting would be a passion of mine. I am thankful to have such a satisfying creative outlet, and now, to be able to present our works to you.
You will see the quilt gallery under Online Shop - CP Quilts, Sales, and Designs. The site should be ready by the third week in July. I will be adding new quilts on a weekly basis. It will be to your advantage to visit frequently as items will change and new projects for purchase will appear. Patti and I have our creative thoughts and hands working so don't stay away too long or you will miss out !!!
